Homework #2

Evaluate Web Site for Accessibility Problems

Write a one-page (250-500 words) evaluation of the accessibility of a UMD web page (you pick whatever non-student UMD page you'd like). Use the WCAG 2.0 to analyze the web page for accessibility features and perform all manual checks.

Rate implementation for each of the WCAG 2.0 guidelines using the following values:

  • Complete: All accessibility requirements met
  • Partial Implementation: Some accessibility requirements met
  • Not Implemented: None or almost none of the accessibility requirements met
  • Not Applicable: The page does not have content that is related to the requirement

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. (20%): Writing quality
  2. (80%): Thoughtfulness and depth of analysis

Submissions (ordered alphabetically by last name):
  • Add your name to the table below and link to the text of your critique that you create as a new wiki page (do not use a file).
  • Remember to indicate your full name also on the actual critique page.
  • Save this page immediately to let others know that the row is taken.
