Interface I Don’t Like: Vim
Vi is a text editor that is supposedly pretty good once you get used to it. But if you’re not used to it is a complete pain. It being terminal based, not intuitive or straightforward, and having weird commands to do just about everything gives this editor a huge learning curve and makes it a big annoyance. Also to move around it's not something nice like wasd or the arrow keys, you have to use hjkl.
Interface I like: Notepad++
What I like about notepad++ is that it is simple and easy to use. It works for most languages that I would use, and it's highly customizable. The interface is really easy to use and overall I just like the clean simple layout. If I’m not using and IDE for programming I always use notepad++.
